Porsche Pack 1, Dream Pack 3, Japanese Pack and Lancia Fulvia mod <a href="http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/lancia-fulvia-1-6-hf.9317/">Download</a> required to race (covers all cars)
Cars all feature a custom setup, which is locked by default on the server. Practice only on the server to get used to the setup and/or track conditions. If you've raced a car in qualifying or a heat, you have to use it for the remainder of the series, or will lose previous results.
Ballast, Restrictors & Balance
Ballast and restrictors are determined based on the overall balance between cars over the entire calendar; some cars outperform on certain tracks to be slower on others. Ballast and restrictors are designed to stay the same throughout a series, but may be subject of change when car(s) prove to be dominant. Setups might be adjusted for further balance.
When a car is not included in the above list, it is because it's way too fast, too slow or because of other criteria (weight, powertrain, etc). To avoid not being able to select your car during practice a series won't feature more than five cars.
Skin/liveries
Every car is required to have a racing themed skin/livery. Skins may not feature:
- alcohol or tobacco related sponsors
- names, url's or logo's from competing race leagues or groups
- other sponsors that can be seen as offensive and/or can cause problems in promotion of this community.
15 minutes qualifying
Heat 1: approx 15 minutes, in laps, announced in race thread
Heat 2: approx 15 minutes, in laps, announced in race thread
Heat 3: approx 15 minutes, in laps, announced in race thread
Grid orders
Heat 1: qualifying result
Heat 2: heat 1 result + top eight reverse*
Heat 3: heat 2 result + top eight reverse*
*reverse grid (based on previous heat result) for heat 2 and heat 3 always for top eight from previous heat
Before every racing heat the server will be restarted, this takes a few minutes due to manually assigning the entry list (starting order). It's recommended to wait for my Discord text and/or voice message to rejoin without issues.
Conditions on race day (likely) differ to those on the practice server. Temperatures on both the public and race server will have the same variations in randomness in terms of both ambient and track temperature throughout the series.
Like previous series, the track will be drawn from a list of three at race time. The race thread includes a list of the three tracks that are up for a draw that week. Tracks will not feature more than once in a series.
The practice server will have one of the tracks from the upcoming week's draw. Leading up to the series start (only first week) various tracks will be featured, rotating every day.

How to install mod tracks: http://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-250.html
Tire wear: 100%
Fuel: 100%
Damage: 70%
ABS: Factory (CTRL+A to disable)
Traction control and Stability Management: Forced off
Free choice: virtual mirror, auto/manual clutch, view/camera
Off track penalty: 2 tyres out; on during practice, qualifying and racing heats
Beware that our rule is to keep two wheels within white lines, where Kunos also includes the kerbs as track limits
Track temperatures vary during practice, qualifying and race. This variation is random with minimum and maximum amounts set. The minimum and maximum variations are not changed, but the track surface temperature during qualifying and races are higher (more realistic).
The weather type is set to closely reflect the weather of that day at that track. Base temperatures (and their variations) are the same throughout the series. Please turn off your car lights in cloudy or foggy conditions. It makes estimating the braking point of the car ahead easier and can prevent accidents from happening.
There will be an overall and team championship. Please note that the point increments for top three have changed since last series.
For Teams the best ten scores of a team will count, so that means that when Driver A scores the team's best result in a week where Driver B and Driver C didn't attend, that score will still count. The best five scores of a pro driver count + the best five scores over the other drivers. If there's no Pro driver, the best ten scores over all team members count.
For every race heat:
50 for first place
49 for second place
48 for third place
47 for fourth
46 for fifth
45 for sixth
...down with increments of 1 point
DNF (did not finish) equals last place in order of dropping out
DNS (did not start) equals zero points
Week result is sum of all racing heats
Best five week results count to overall standings
Maximum of 3 drivers per team, minimum of two drivers per team. All team members have to drive the same car, which has to be instantly recognisable as being a team car; cars of team members may differ in secondary or third color.
You can replace one driver during the series once, but have to announce it before the race where you're going to use the new driver (scores of the replaced driver will still count up until that point).
Teams are restricted to a maximum of one driver of each division.

The list above, although subjective, is non-debatable. If you're somehow not on the list, but have made at least two races in a series before, please PM me. Even if you're not on the list and/or haven't done any racing with us before, you're of course allowed to participate in this series.
Although clean, respectful and fair racing is our ethos, accidents can happen especially in close racing. Whenever you're involved in an accident and feel aggrieved, do not make any public claims, assumptions or accusations on the forum.
Before reporting it to the staff, first watch the replay yourself (request it for download by PM to me). If you still think you were the victim of actions that do not comply with our guidelines, send a PM to the series staff detailing your case.
If you do not report it, it will likely go unnoticed as I do not check replays for incidents unless I have any indication of uncosy behaviour. Thus, it's your responsibility to report uncosy track behaviour.
Short overview of our guidelines:
- return position when your fault causes someone to leave the track, spin or lose a position
- return position, return to track, carry out slow down penalties only when safe
- safety is the most important part of the first corners; keep battles and overtakes to a minimum
- respect the blue flag: allow lapping traffic an effortless pass that doesn't slow them down
- respect during qualifying; when on your first lap, give lapping cars an effortless pass that doesn't slow them down
- keep two wheels within white lines as much as possible
- no blatant swerving or blocking; only switch lines once and allow space for others who are aside you before braking
- no dive bombing; do not dive on the inside of cars braking earlier than you while not already aside
- watch a replay from multiple angles before judging an incident
First time racing with us in a series?
1) make sure you've posted your car choice in http://www.cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-628.html
2) sign up every week in the weekly race thread with an In, Maybe or Out. You can join a series any time and don't have to make all the races. Only those who posted on time in the race thread are added to the entry list.
3) please make sure you add your name to the Crew Chief (Assetto app) name list http://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-304.html
4) Discord is now mandatory to participate in our events, joining our voice channel is recommended (a mic is not mandatory). More on Discord and download: http://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-362.html
5) 15 to 10 minutes before qualifying, I will post a message on Discord saying the server is live (search "cosy" in the server list). It's then in practice mode until qualifying starts. Between heats the server will be restarted, I'll again post on Discord when the server is live; from there you have two minutes to connect
6) Make sure to read before asking questions; the rules, races threads and other series' threads are often written so they includes (almost) anything you need to know
