A six week series featuring five of the finest mid segment sports cars!
A few things are different than last series: tracks will be announced at race time, drawn from a list of three tracks announced in the race thread (as in the Cosy Corse Clienti a few weeks back). A practice server will still be up most of the week with last week's track.
Contrary to previous series, the best ten scores of a team will count, so that means that when Driver A scores the team's best result in a week where Driver B and Driver C didn't attend, that score will still count.
Teams are also back to the system of max one pro driver allowed, and are free in their other drivers. Stand-in drivers are now encouraged, read more in the teams section. There won't be monthly championships for this series.
Dream Pack 1 and Porsche Pack 1 required to race any race (covers all cars)
Dream Pack 3 required for Brands Hatch
Cars all feature a custom setup, which is locked by default on the server. Practice only on the server to avoid not being used to the setup and/or track conditions. If you've raced a car in qualifying or a heat, you have to use it for the remainder of the series, or will lose previous results (not applicable when stand-in for a team driver).
The 80% boost pressure of the BMW 1M Stage 3 is not to be changed!
Ballast & Balance
Ballast is determined based on the overall balance between cars over the entire calendar; some cars outperform others on certain tracks, again to be slower on others; provide very contradicting findings only through private message to me.
Ballast may be subject of change when car(s) prove to be dominant. Setups might be adjusted for further balance. When a car is not included in the above list, it is because it's way too fast, too slow or because of other criteria (weight, powertrain, etc). To avoid not being able to select your car during practice a series won't feature more than five different cars.
Skin/liveries
Skins may not feature:
- alcohol or tobacco related sponsors
- names, url's or logo's from competing race leagues or groups
- other sponsors that can be seen as offensive and/or can cause problems in promotion of this community.
Team liveries are strongly recommend to have the same overall scheme, but I'd also like to see very different base and detail colors.
15 minutes qualifying
Heat 1: approx 15 minutes, in laps, see calendar (also announced in race thread and steam chat messages)
Heat 2: approx 15 minutes, in laps, see calendar (also announced in race thread and steam chat messages)
Heat 3: approx 15 minutes, in laps, see calendar (also announced in race thread and steam chat messages)
Grid orders
Heat 1: qualifying result
Heat 2: heat 1 result + top eight reverse*
Heat 3: heat 2 result + top eight reverse*
*reverse grid (based on previous heat result) for heat 2 and heat 3 always for top eight from previous heat
Before every racing heat the server will be restarted, this takes a few minutes due to manually assigning the entry list (starting order). It's recommended to wait for my Steam chat message to rejoin without issues.
Conditions on race day (likely) differ to those on the practice server. Temperatures on both the public and race server will have the same variations in randomness in terms of both ambient and track temperature.
Tracks will be announced at race time, but the race thread will have the three tracks that are up for a draw every week, always consisting of at least one Kunos track and at least one mod track. Kunos tracks will not be featured again if they have not been drawn. No track will be raced more than once in the series.
The practice server will have the track that was raced the previous week. Leading up to the series start various tracks will be featured, rotating every day.

How to install mod tracks: http://cosyracingcommunity.com/thread-250.html
Tire wear: 100%
Fuel: 100%
Damage: 50%
ABS: Factory (CTRL+A to disable)
Traction control and Stability Management: Forced off
Free choice: virtual mirror, auto/manual clutch, view/camera
Off track penalty: on during practice, qualifying and racing heats; two wheels within track limits
Track temperatures vary during practice, qualifying and race. This variation is random with minimum and maximum amounts set. The minimum and maximum variations are not changed, but the track surface temperature during qualifying and races are higher (more realistic).
The weather type is set to closely reflect the weather of that day at that track. Base temperatures (and their variations) are the same throughout the series. Please turn off your car lights in cloudy or foggy conditions. It makes estimating the braking point of the car ahead easier and can prevent accidents from happening.
There will be an overall and team championship, no monthly championships for this one.
50 for 1st place
48 for second place
46 for third
44 for fourth
43 for fifth
42 for sixth
etc.
DNF (did not finish) equals last place in order of dropping out
DNS (did not start) equals zero points
Week result is sum of all racing heats
Best four week results count to overall standings
Contrary to previous series, the best ten scores of a team will count, so that means that when Driver A scores the team's best result in a week where Driver B and Driver C didn't attend, that score will still count.
Privateers this time are encouraged to fill up teams as stand in drivers. If so, they will use the car and livery of the driver they are replacing, but will be mentioned on the team standings as themselves under that team. Results of stand-in drivers will not count for the overall standings unless they're using the same car (model). A stand-in replaces an existing team driver for all four sessions of that week (qualifying and all three racing heats).
Maximum of 3 drivers per team, minimum of two drivers per team. All team members have to drive the same car, which has to be instantly recognisable as being a team car; cars of team members are encouraged to differ in secondary or third color, wing or mirror details.
The best four scores of a pro driver count + the best four scores over the other drivers. If there's no Pro driver, the best eight scores over all team members count.
Contrary to last series, teams are mostly free in their line-up, but may only have one Pro level driver.

The list above, although subjective, is non-debatable. If you're somehow not on the list but still meet the conditions to be, please PM me.
You can make one driver replacement during the series, but have to announce it before the race where you're going to use the new driver (scores of the replaced driver will still count up until that point).
Whenever a stand-in driver is promoted to a team, all results of not driving in the same car will be no longer valid.
Although clean, respectful and fair racing is our ethos, accidents can happen, especially in close racing. Whenever you're involved in an accident and feel aggrieved, do not make any public claims, assumptions or accusations on the forum.
Before reporting it to the staff, first watch the replay yourself (request to have it available for download by PM to me). If you still think you were the victim of actions that do not comply with our guidelines, send a PM to the series staff detailing your case.
If you do not report it, it will likely go unnoticed as I do not check replays for incidents unless I have any indication of uncosy behaviour. Thus, it's your responsibility to report uncosy track behaviour.

24 slots rules
In case of more than 24 members signing up, priority will be given in the following order:
- all drivers on the first six full teams automatically secure a spot if they sign up
- privateers secure positions based on
- if number of points is equal, the number of weeks fully attended in that series (qualifying and all three race heats are one appearance) will determine the order of the list to keep the field as close as possible
- if both above are equal for multiple drivers, I'll contact the involved to find a solution
The sign-up list in the first post of the race thread will be updated with the (#th reserve) addition in case 24 sign-ups are exceeded. Future team rules will be adjusted to assure a fair position for regulars, currently no more team forming will be allowed.
